Andy Poole got his start in the bowling business back in 1997 at the bright young age of 14 working under the likes of Kurt Davids, Rick Thomas and Gregg Goldstein at Schwoegler’s Pro Shop. During Andy’s middle school and high school days Andy spent most week nights working at Schwoegler’s Pro Shop and weekends participating in junior scholarship bowling tournaments around Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa.
After graduating high school in 2001, Andy spent one year at Madison Area Technical College before transferring to Vincennes University (Vincennes, IN) in 2002. While at Vincennes University, Andy earned a degree in Bowling Industry Management and Technologies and bowled collegiately for the 2003 and 2004 NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) National Champions.
After graduating from Vincennes University in 2004, Andy spent one year in Champaign, IL where he was the Assistant General Manager of GT’s Western Bowl. In 2005, Andy moved back to Wisconsin to become Schwoegler’s Pro Shop Manager.
Today Andy continues to bowl leagues and tournaments on a local, state and national level, but focuses most his time on managing Schwoegler’s Pro Shop and being Assistant Manager of Schwoegler Park Towne Lanes.
